My friend Mariel wrote a comic about me (and my terrible adventure with dog sitting an anxious puppy)
March 3rd is Dyscalculia Awareness Day! Spread the word about this learning disability that isn’t heard about a lot and has tons of stigma behind it. I am not bad at math because I am a girl, nor is math my “weak subject.” I have a true, serious learning disability that effects my entire life.
It took until I failed grade 10 math TWICE to figure out that I had this. Good job, school system. Good job.

a fact:
i abhor talking on the phone. i will avoid it at all costs. if you have ever tried to phone me only to receive a text message right after (usually saying something like, “oh! just missed your call! what’s up?”) it is because instead of picking up, i was staring at my phone and willing the incoming call screen to go away.
ALWAYS & FOREVER.
I get made fun of for this.
“Hey we should order pizza, want to phone ? Oh no, you can use my phone!”
