This is basically how my grandmother still cooks, except ‘healthier’ because she uses diet 7-UP
When I was younger I collected the usual marbles and stickers, but I also collected any small soap I deemed “fancy” in shape, bath beads/pearls (which I never used), and teeth. Any teeth. My own and others - usually from dogs and cats.
Normal?
Oh jeeze, does anyone else remember this song from their childhood? We always sang it in elementary school ad nauseum.

I recall having really odd dreams about Polly Pocket last night.
It definitely wasn’t one of the sweet ones that I had when I was little where I got to live in the pocket houses.

Vintage Star Wars drinking glasses…I want them!
I am not ashamed to admit that this is one of my favourite songs. I’ve never even listened to Equalizer, ever, outside of this song. I often forget about it too - but every once in a while I remember and listen to it for hours.
It has prompted too many excellent conversations and been a part of many wonderful evenings.
Final year of high school, fairly large drunken house party. Everyone is drunk or stoned and running around/yelling/making out. This song comes on and everyone stopped and sat down on the floor until it finished.
It’s weird how certain things create feelings in you that never really leave.
